Leave without Pay Request Form
To be considered for a leave of absence without pay, you must have been continuously employed with the OCDSB for at least two (2) years on a regular basis immediately prior to the effective date of the leave.
Leaves of absence without pay may be granted for up to one (1) year. If you are interested in a leave of absence, you must submit the authorized leave form at least four (4) weeks prior to your requested leave start date to Employee Services.
The Ontario Employment Standards Act (ESA) gives eligible employees the right to take job-protected leaves of absence for specific reasons. For more information:
